Edwin Mooi is 59 jaar en woont in Badhoevedorp. Zijn liefde voor Lenco draaitafels begon al op jonge leeftijd, toen hij als tiener de platenspeler van zijn vader uit elkaar haalde om te kijken hoe het ding eigenlijk werkte. Die eerste motor die hij met eigen handen weer aan de praat kreeg, was het begin van een levenslange passie.
In de loop der jaren groeide zijn kennis van Lenco draaitafels uit tot echte expertise. Wat ooit een hobby was, werd uiteindelijk een ambacht. Edwin restaureert, reviseert, repareert en upgradet Lenco draaitafels met de precisie van een vakman en de liefde van een echte verzamelaar. Elk toestel dat zijn werkplaats verlaat, draait weer zoals het hoort, of beter.
